Gioele Cosentino

Gioele Cosentino, 2000, was born in Savona and here he began his dance studies at the Centro Danza Savona, in 2005. During his training he approached different styles including ballet, contemporary, modern jazz, musical, floor barre and tap dance. He therefore had the opportunity to study with teachers such as Alessandra Schirripa, Ekaterina Desniskaja, Claudia Zaccari, Gustavo Oliveira, Giacomo Milli and others.

With the CeDanSa Ensemble he participated in various productions such as The Art Life staged at the Fortezza del Priamar (SV) and the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti (MO).

He began teaching contemporary dance, ballet and floor barre at the Centro Danza Savona.

In september 2020 he deepened the studies of contemporary dance at the NOD – Nuova Officina della Danza (TO) with international guests such as Spencer Theberge, Jermaine Spivy, Pau Aran Gimeno, Sita Osthemeir, Bruno Guillore, among the others.

He was selected by Wayne McGregor for the Biennale College Danza 2021, and he had the opportunity to study for three months with guest teachers from some of the best contemporary dance companies and to perform at the 15th International Festival of Contemporary Dance, dancing Far by Wayne McGregor, Solo Echo by Crystal Pite, Selene’s Triangle by Thalia Abdiel.

Since september 2021 he has been a stable dancer for the Sanpapiè Company in Milan, for which he participated in several new creations, performing at Teatro Elfo Puccini, Fonderia Aterballetto, and other prestigious theatres.

At the same time, he continues teaching tanztheater and contemporary dance at Campo Teatrale.

In the summer 2023 he graduated in Scienze Motorie e Sportive at the Unipegaso University.

Since 2022 he has been a dancer of the Lost Movement Company.
