For the 10 years of Lost Movement “POPoff” and the taranta rhythms

The Lost Movement company celebrates its first 10 years. For the occasion, they will bring to the scenes “POPoff”, created in 2015, which for years has involved the public through the frenzied rhythm of pizzica and taranta: an elegy of the tradition, popular culture, colours and contrasts of the South of Italy, themes and places dear to the authors. “POPoff” will be hosted in the beautiful Piazza San Carlo, in the heart of the city centre of Milan, on Sunday the 3rd of October 2021, at 5.00 pm.

The event is part of the larger event Milano Dancing City, of which Lost Movement has been a supporter since the first edition. The show will be enriched by the famous Apulian vocal quartet Faraualla, who for the occasion will perform live together with the company.

The show will be anticipated by Pina Bausch’s Nelken Line, rearranged for Milano Dancing City by the Tanztheater Wuppertal dancer Aida Vainieri. The famous dancing line will start from Piazza della Scala, to proceed through the Gallery and Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, to end finally in Piazza San Carlo.

The event will be closed by the performances promoted by “Dance Bus” a project created by the Dance Card network partners, supported by the Regione Lombardia.
