Alessandro Bonacina

Alessandro Bonacina, born in 2004, approached dance at a young age by studying hip hop and break dance. In the following years he expanded his training by integrating Caribbean dances, ballet, modern, contemporary dance and artistic gymnastics. In the two-year period 2016-2018 he attended NOAH: Professional Dance School Urban Fusion directed by Marisa Ragazzo and Omid Ighani.

Since 2022, he has been a student at ArteMente, Higher Education Center for Dance in Milan, where he has been exposed to the languages of various artists and choreographers and has performed in original creations by Michael Loehr, Marco Laudani, Alessio Barbarossa, Maria Giovanna Delle Donne, and Adriano Bolognino, Simone Donati, Nico Monaco e Claudio Cangialosi.

During her training years, she took part in several performance projects. In 2022, she danced at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. In 2023, she was a performer at the FuoriSalone in Milan, participated in Genoma Scenico Metodo by Nicola Galli for the Oriente Occidente Dance Festival, and danced in the performance 1495 with the Lost Movement Company at the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. That same year, she collaborated with Akira Yoshida on the creation What shall we do?, further developing her acrobatic skills.

In 2024, he participated in three new productions: Non ho l’età by Constanza Macras in Milan, Mindlapse by Laja Field in Berlin, and Eclissi by Michela Lucenti for the Oriente Occidente Dance Festival.

Since 2025, he has been a dancer with the Lost Movement Company.

Also in 2025, he has been a dancer in new productions for the Arearea Company, directed by Marta Bevilacqua and Roberto Cocconi, and the Artemis Danza Company, led by Monica Casadei. He also danced in the locker_room production by Giovanni Careccia, again for the Lost Movement Company.

 

In parallel with his performance career, he has gained experience in teaching. Since 2023, he has taught hip hop, fusion and acrobatics, but he is currently dedicated exclusively to teaching contemporary dance.
