produced in collaboration with ArteMente – Higher Education Center for Dance

1495 represents a physical, metaphorical, ideal journey dominated by the visionary, utopian and eclectic dimension of Leonardo Da Vinci’s mind.

A site-specific performance, created and designed by Nicolò Abbattista and Christian Consalvo for the spaces of the Sala del Cenacol and the Padiglione Ferroviario of the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan.

After a first positive collaboration with the same city institution, the Lost Movement Company and the ArteMente Center were called to take an active part in the celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the Museum, curating the contemporary dance section, Gathering very positive opinions, demonstrated by the return of part of the same spectators to the repeated over the course of the evening.
