Salvatore Sciancalepore, 1993, began his first studies with Dora Martinelli in Puglia at “Centro Teatro Danza”. Then he received a scholarship for the Michele Merola school and moved to Reggio Emilia where he stayed until 2009, when he was admitted to Scuola del Balletto di Toscana and joined the “Junior Company” of the school.
He deepened his studies in London with Roland Price, Ian Knowles, Susan Sentler and Mimmo Miccolis. When he came back to Italy, he attended the specialization course “Agora Coaching Project” directed by Michele Merola and Enrico Morelli.
He has been worked as a dancer with numerous choreographers such as Emanuele Soavi, Francesco Nappa, Manfredi Perego, Michele Merola, Enrico Morelli, Fabrizio Monteverde, Eugenio Scigliano, Arianna Benedetti, Octavio de la Roza for the Festival d’Avignon and with several companies: Prendashanseaux by Antonio Bissiri, S Dance Company by Mario Coccetti and MMCompany by Michele Merola.
Since 2017 he has been a stable dancer of Lost Movement company.
