Maria Chiara Bono

Maria Chiara Bono, 1995, approached dance at a very young age in Bari, her hometown. There, she started to study contemporary dance with the choreographer Roberta Ferrara.

Then, she continued her training in Siena at the Ateneo della danza, directed by Marco Batti and, in the following year, at Opus Ballet, directed by Rosanna Brocanello, in Florence. In those years, she had the opportunity to be in contact with different choreographers such as Ana Presta, Shahar Biniamini, Pompea Santoro, Alessio Barbarossa, Samuele Cardini, Marina Mascarell, Theo Clinkard, Anthony Missen, Paul Anthony Dennis, Riccardo Buscarini, Hagit Yakira, Elisa Barrucchieri, Omar Rajeh and Matthias Kass.

In 2019 she joined the Equilibrio Dinamico Ensemble directed by Roberta Ferrara and based in Bari. Here she had the opportunity to work with international artists such as: Pracido Domingo, Mario Bermudez Gil, Humanhood, Imre van Opstal, Pablo Girolami, Sasha Riva and Simone Repele.

In 2019 she was selected to take part in the Biennale College Dance 2019 in Venice, where she worked with the dancers of the Trisha Brown Dance Company and experienced new languages with the creation of Alessandro Sciarroni.

Since 2019 she has been a stable dancer of the Lost Movement Company.
