site specific performance created inside the Casello Daziario di Porta Sempione
created in collaboration with Milano Dancing City
Clubbing is a series of installation performances that immerse the audience in the vibrant energy and fleeting atmosphere of the clubbing world. The performances explore the social, emotional, and physical dynamics that unfold within these nocturnal gathering places. Through fluid and syncopated movements, the dancers embody the different figures that populate the club scene. The performances are structured as different scenes that evoke the various phases of a club during a night, from the tension of anticipation to the euphoria of the dance floor, and from the melancholy of the after-party to the sense of community that forms among the participants.
A choreographic investigation into the transformative power of the night, an invitation to reflect on the ephemeral nature of human experiences and the search for connection and meaning within club culture.
The show is created to adapt to unconventional venues and inhabit everyday spaces.
The dance of the four performers can be shaped by different DJ sets, creating original performances each time.
